Real People Insights is a research project open to everyday people interested in sharing a behind-the-scenes look at social media.


It’s simple: you choose the platform or platforms you use most, record and narrate short clips of your feed as you scroll, and upload them through our secure, online system.


Your data is securely stored, anonymized, and stripped of any personal identifiers. Personal data will never be shared with third-party entities or used for direct marketing.

  2. Download the Indeemo app: Directions will be sent to accepted applicants

  3. Screen record and upload the requested tasks by using the secure Indeemo
    applications on your phone or desktop 

  4. Get paid! Each participant will receive a $100 direct payment upon completion of all
    assigned tasks.

    It's that easy.

  3. Complete three 15-20 minute tasks by using our secure Indeemo application on your phone
    and/or computer to screen record three, separate short, guided "tasks" on your preferred
    social media platform or platforms. You will upload each screen-recorded task to the secure,
    private Indeemo platform. 

  4. Get paid! Each participant will receive a $25 direct payment for each submission, $75 total, received upon completion.

    It's that easy.

    A small group of applicants will be accepted to complete a first round of research in August 2025. Additional rounds will be opened as available.
